Bizet's passionate and spirited score, with its infectious Spanish rhythms and abundance of melody, has made Carmen arguably the greatest opera ever written and certainly the most popular. Accompanied by the Philharmonic Festival Orchestra, under the baton of loc al conductor Georg Tormann, this Carmen is not to be missed.
